wooooow...

so ive basically abandoned my xanga haha....oops.

it's been a while...

almost an entire year!!  lots has happened....like me and jared broke up after six months in june.  and i graduated CCC and now go to Missouri Southern.

i'm in their theatre program too.  i did all three shows this semester.  beyond therapy, gas, and elves and the shoemaker.  fun times.

i'm in the teacher education program.  this past semester i did 32 [in-the-school] hours of observation and took my C-Base.  i've got 2 or 3 years left before i graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Education.  i'm going into secondary theatre/speech.  way excited.

joplin is way different than coffeyville.  coffeyville, the town, was shitty....but the people made it amazing.  joplin, the town, has stuff to do....but it's missing something.  there was something about the horribleness of coffeyville that attracted amazing people and friends....and with joplin it's hard to find people like those in coffeyville.  it took a while to get used to, but i've made lots of friends and had plenty of good times.  and i'm so thankful that ashley came with me.  i dont know what i would've done without her there.

christmas just passed and i got to see a lot of my family.  i'm looking forward to new years!

anyways....i hope 2008 brought you all happiness.  i hope the good times outnumbered the bad.  now lets get ready for 2009!!!

it's MLK Jr. Day!! Which means no school OR work OR rehearsal (because of ACTF)

i'm a happy girl right now cause i got to sleep until 10 haha

having a get together around 2ish.  should be fun!

pretty much in like with jared.  i've never really felt the way i feel about him.  it's a good feeling, but it also scares me.  i get butterflies a lot...STILL!  i dont know...hard to explain.  but i like it.

last semester at CCC is going pretty well.  busy as always but i wouldnt have it any other way.  now i have to get all my shit together to apply to MSSU and try and get on theatre scholarship.  eek!!

anyways....i hope everyone reading this (which might be one person, maybe) is having a wonderful 2008 so far.  stay safe and warm!!

i love not having school.

i love being able to sleep in until one in the afternoon because i have work at 3.

i love my friends.

i love my family.

i love my kids at work, even though they're a pain in the butt most of the time.

i love randomly going to sedan.

i love the quads during break.

i love snow.  not ice, though.

i love presents. giving and receiving.

i'm back home right now, just like every (other) sunday.  i hate dial-up internet haha

i've decided on missouri southern for next year. i'm getting really excited about it.

one more semester and one summer left in coffeyville. i think i'll miss it.

i'm so ready for christmas!! the break is going to be soooo good. i can't wait to buy lots of presents for my family!

i'm pretty much psychic when it comes to my phone. i can always tell when i'm going to get a text. i always pick up my phone, look at the time, and when i set it back down it starts to go off.  weird!!!
